Jolicloud 1.0: New Operating System Demonstrated on a Acer Netbook

For those who don't know anything about operating system, I will explain it a bit. An operating system is a program that allow other program to run. It manage all the computer stuff. So, Jolicloud 1.0 is an operating system that has recently been finished and is now getting ready to distribute it. It's an operating system that is not made by companies like Apple, Microsoft. This new version of Jolicloud has come along way since it was first started, they have improved a lot in the recent new builds. I betting that most of the people (including me) probably don’t even know what Jolicloud is or has not even heard of it.

Basically it’s a new operating system that someone or a company has created “underground” and then some people can get copies of it. It’s an application based operating system that looks a lot like the Iphone where you can click on your “Safari” application. The different is that it is on a computer. It’s a very cool concept. There is no mention of pricing or availability as of the operating system yet, but some people have received copies and have tested it out already. Here is a picture of it look like:
